How many times have you ever heard a conservative go to the podium on national TV and say “These are dire times in America. The homeless and starving in our country are in dire need, and we have to bail them out.” Why is it that now that it’s a wealthy businessman’s pocket that we suddenly have to help? WE THE PEOPLE. We are supposed to help one another at ALL times. Not just when the President’s friends might be getting squeezed. Why doesn’t the government require Big Business to bail out the homeless? The hungry? When is it going to be a requirement of ALL businesses over a certain net gain, to contribute to the up-keep of ALL Americans, not just their friends and other wealthy people. Why is it when the wealthy are doing well, then little people don’t matter, but when Big Business has an issue, the world shakes? How is it that when people cant afford health care, and don’t go to the doctor because they are terrified of the bills they might have, and big business goes… ahahaha pay us anyway. And now… when THEY need their own form of “Health Care”, the small people still have to pay? You understand that the proposed bail out will leave each of us owing over 3000 in taxes to the government, because of BAD PLANNING?? When I have bad planning, I get fired. When I have bad planning, my kids go hungry. When I have bad planning, I lose my electricity. Why is it that when I have bad planning, its called being irresponsible, but when Lehman Brother’s has bad planning, they get a LOAN FROM THE GOVERNMENT??? I wish I could even say what a joke, but its sooo backwards and sad, I can’t even say that. Awhile back I said, and told everyone that this country was headed towards financial RUIN, an economic crash worse than we had ever seen. Do I get bonus points now? When did I say that??? HERE! Okay, so I said the world, but honestly… if we go down, don’t you think they will to? Honestly... I’ve been saying it to people for about a year now, maybe somewhat longer, that it was coming. Mostly, people looked at me like I was Chicken Little. What I want to know is… how when I do what I am supposed to, can the President even THINK to ask me for more? I don’t have more to give. And I won’t do it. Like Thoreau before me, I shall refuse to pay that part of the tax that they want from me for supporting the bail out. And encourage others to do so as well. Irresponsible on the part of big business means just that. And they should pay the same penalty as everyone else. Not, NOT get a free ride.
