So it was another quiet weekend for me, mostly that is. We did head down to camp on Staurday, and I played poker with the crew. I believe however, it is an advantage for women to play poker here, in that most of them… are naked. Thereby distracting many players, notably me, from consistent play. Soo… needless to say.. I didn’t win. I did however have a good time. Once my trouncing was finished though, we headed out to a couples trailer, and began to consume mass quantities of 1800 silver. That’s tequila for those who don’t favor that particular beverage. I do… its smooth, can be chased with just about anything and does little or no next-day damage. Most of the people I play poker with are also WoW players, so once the alcohol had begun to flow, much of the discussion turned to that instead of anything of a more rational persuasion. Which is good, because at the moment, I seriously enjoy that topic, and discussing it is almost as good as playing it. Sunday dawned bright and clear, and we enjoyed breakfast at Mom’s Diner ( not a restaurant ) and then one more round of poker. I did about the same. One of the long-time members recently passed so the weekend was cut somewhat short, and many of them headed to the wake being held in his honor. Rather than hang out for the rest of the afternoon. The boys and I went to the pool, and got a little sun.

This coming weekend represents the end of day-camper season at Camp, in that, only members are allowed on the premises after September opens. Which is interesting and bumming at the same time. People will act a bit freer, not having to maintain an image for camp for the day-trippers, but it also means that there will likely be no more single women at camp this season. Ahh well.. there’s always next year. = Lord, I sound like a Cub fan! :D
